Physical Distancing BC Provincial Stage 2

Overview

  • Two worship gatherings per Sunday, 9-10am, 10:45-11:45am
  • Registration required for members to attend each week. (Register through our homepage or Facebook links)
  • Some limited space for walk-in guests
  • Target to stay well under the 50-person cap
  • Continue online worship for those who cannot come yet. (Both gatherings are live-streamed.)
  • 1-hour gatherings with 45 minutes between to allow for refreshments, clearing the room for sanitation and bringing in the second group
  • Please do NOT attend if you have any symptoms of illness or if you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19.
  • Masks required to be worn.

Some Details

  • Leave minimum one parking space between you and other vehicles in the church lot
  • Front door drive-through will be blocked from vehicles to leave space for an entry lineup
  • Front door greeter with clicker to manage head count
  • Gym door greeter to check off registrants and double check head count
  • Greeters to manage doors so touching is kept to a minimum
  • Attendees to enter gym through back door, leave through front doors
  • Back of gym floor to be marked with standing places to maintain 2m distance during conversation
  • All attendees required to sanitize or wash hands upon arrival
  • Chairs for worship will be arranged in small clusters to accommodate household groups. 
  • Bathroom doors will be propped open to avoid touching doors

Q&A

  • Will we have Jr. Church, Nursery, Children’s Ministry?
    • Yes! But… Jr. Church for children above nursery age will be available in very small class sizes. They will meet outside whenever possible.
    • Children will start in the main worship gathering and be dismissed partway through.
    • Children will have hands sanitized when they leave from and return to the gym.
  • How about refreshments?
    • Drinks and individually wrapped snacks to be served as described in our restart video
    • 15 minutes for socializing (*NOTE: currently suspended under current Provincial Health Order. Attendees are asked to leave the gym immediately after each gathering.)
